Description
Louis VUITTON. A rare two-part trunk with separate sections. Both sections are made of wood and lined with black coated canvas. Each side of the lid is reinforced by two wooden and brass crossbars. The top of the lid is adorned with an oval studded panel. The two sides of the lid feature thick leather handles. The edges are protected by brass corner pieces (brass sheet). The hidden section rests on a base with iron reinforcements. The seat is reinforced with wooden and iron slats. The signature is stamped in five places on the trunk, including underneath the seat. Straps in natural cowhide. Leather label present. Entirely original piece, having undergone no alterations or cleaning treatments. Dimensions: 70 x 48 x 47 cm.
