Interesting double bass by MARCHAL made in Mirecourt circa 1830-1840; stamped Marchal on the back. Chest length 109,5cm ; upper width : 51,5cm ; C width : 40 ; lower width : 63,5cm, vibrating strings length : 97cm. Varnish retouched, some restorations. Broken ribs. This instrument is more than 100 years old.
This instrument is accompanied on request by a certificate of authenticity from VATELOT RAMPAL (VREXP1).

Body length: 109.5 cm; width at the top: 51.5 cm; width at the C-fret: 40 cm; lower width: 63.5 cm; length of vibrating strings: 97 cm. Retouched varnish, some restorations. Cracks on the ribs. This instrument is over 100 years old.
