MANUFACTURE DE MONTIERES - AMIENS
Seaweed and scallop shells" vase, model created circa 1917-1919, in earthenware with a shouldered ovoid body and a small square neck with two detached side handles set on a ring heel. The body is decorated with seaweed in iridescent polychrome enamels on a crackled green background, while the neck is decorated with scallops and stylised aquatic motifs in cloisonné polychrome enamels on a blue background (small amount of enamel missing from the edge of the neck).
Signed in the decoration.
