Moulded and carved walnut.
Half-moon in shape, it features a frieze richly decorated with a fruit motif and a twisted design set against a background of shells and foliage. It rests on a curved base topped with an acanthus leaf.
18th-century Provençal work.
Black Portor marble top added at a later date.
Height 83.5, Width 74, Depth 43.5 cm.
