Large reclining armchair with mechanism
Moulded and carved walnut.
High, reclining backrest. The armrests feature recessed cuffs finished with volutes. The apron is decorated with piastres. It stands on four tapered legs finished with square sections. The iron mechanism, located on the side of the seat, allows for eight reclining positions.
Dated to the late 18th–early 19th centuries, in the Louis XVI style.
Green upholstery with foliage motifs.
Height 129, Width 65, Depth 66 cm.
