Description
A cabinet or sideboard in the style of Renaissance furniture from the Loire Valley
Crafted from moulded and carved walnut, inlaid with metal fillets, mother-of-pearl and engraved, stained bone depicting vases of flowers and foliage scrolls, as well as a crown with a moulded finish. Featuring an architecturally designed two-tiered form, the lower section has a plinth base and baluster uprights, whilst the upper section opens via three drawers and three doors, punctuated by columns, with a recessed centre and a broken pediment crowning the whole. The front legs are flattened ball-shaped.
