in mahogany and mahogany veneer, with a double-door front and three drawers running along the base. Ornamentation of chiselled and gilded bronze, featuring a design of foliage scrolls and tendrils; the centre is adorned with a medallion depicting a bacchanal after Clodion, whilst the sides feature scenes from mythology. Rounded, fluted and serrated side panels. Top in veined white marble.
