Two-part Empire-style bookcase
of rectangular shape, veneered in mahogany. The upper section opens via three glazed doors – with bevelled panes – interspersed with four free-standing columns supporting the projecting cornice. The lower section opens via two doors and four drawers, the front decorated with corbels. Ornamentation features gilded bronze elements, including palmettes and facing Victory figures holding a laurel wreath.
