Edouard Marcel SANDOZ (1880–1971) for HAVILAND Lidded jug with an openwork handle, in white, yellow and blue glazed porcelain, depicting a duck. Signed on the base and around the lid ‘Théodore Haviland Limoges France copyright’, ‘déposé’, with recessed Haviland and Sandoz stamps, and signed in blue enamel ‘E.M.Sandoz sc’. H: 14 cm (damage to the spout) A duck-shaped china pitcher by Edouard Marcel Sandoz and Théodore Haviland, with a yellow, black and white enamelled lid. Signed on the base and on the lid with the stamps ‘TH’ and the Sandoz monogram, stamped ‘Théodore Haviland Limoges France copyright’ and ‘déposé’, plus ‘E.M.Sandoz sc’ in blue enamel.
