Lacquered wooden figure
Depicting the deity Kannon Bosatsu seated on a lotus flower, which in turn rests on a tall tiered base, her right hand raised in the vitarkamudra, her left hand drawn back in front of her chest and clasped. The serene face, with half-closed eyes, is crowned by a tall, stylised headdress. The monastic robe, with its soft folds, covers both shoulders.
