A pair of ivory finials intended for mounting on a painting or calligraphy scroll, cylindrical in shape with an incised landscape design at one end, and around the circumference a scene of children playing in landscapes, lighting firecrackers on one, and playing ‘jianzi’ (a game with a shuttlecock) on the other, inscribed with ‘shanshui he 山水合’ (landscape) and ‘人山大合’, and bearing a red seal.
