A cylindrical ivory opium pipe engraved with a continuous scene from the ‘Hundred Children’, depicting dozens of young boys playing various games in a garden (firecrackers, blind man’s buff, music, lion dance, ludo, etc.), titled ‘baizi qiansun 百子千孫 ’ (a hundred children, a thousand grandchildren), a lotus frieze at one end, with an oxidised copper alloy mount comprising a mouthpiece, two rings and a bowl decorated with repoussé designs of dragons and bats.
