Bidjar carpet (cotton warp and weft, wool pile), North-West Persia.
Circa 1930–1970.
(Slight wear and probably reduced in size.)
Length: 100 cm; Width: 70 cm.
The carpet is adorned with a polychrome central medallion, flanked by two pendants decorated with bouquets of flowers on an ivory ground, enhanced by floral motifs and vases of flowers. A narrow bronze border with floral motifs frames the composition.
