Fountain pen in a limited edition of 888 pieces, no. 115/888. The barrel and cap are adorned with a motif inspired by the modern artworks in the Guggenheim collection, in an Art Deco style featuring clean, geometric lines. Cap band decorated with lion heads, a reference to the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni — Peggy Guggenheim’s former Venetian residence and a symbol of La Serenissima. Cone featuring red and white stripes evoking Venice’s characteristic columns.
Handcrafted nib engraved with dog paw prints, a tribute to the fourteen Lhasa Apsos that accompanied Peggy Guggenheim throughout her life. Marbled Montblanc emblem, whose surface echoes the texture of the Palazzo Venier dei Leoni. Weight: 79.3 g.
