French work from the 1960s-1970s Collar necklace in yellow gold 750‰ composed of articulated chased and textured links falling in imitation of foliage mounted on a chain. Ratchet and eight safety clasp. Diamond hallmark of the Atelier Edouard RICHARDS. Length: 41cm. Mesh width: 0.7 to 1.9cm. P. : 61,8 g. (Slight oxidation). Active since the mid-1950s, the Atelier Edouard RICHARDS has worked for many jewellery houses, including Boucheron, Chaumet, Fred, Hermès and Piaget. His work is distinguished by his taste for yellow gold and its textures, often enhanced with coloured stones and decorative stones (malachite, lapis lazuli, coral, etc.). Floral, foliage and animal themes feature prominently.
