Founded in 1954, the Atelier GEORLAND is inextricably linked with the name of the Marteau family, jewellers handed down from father to son for three generations, and stands out for its high level of technical expertise in the world of jewellery, particularly when it comes to setting stones. The Atelier has worked for many prestigious Houses - including Chaumet, Hermès and Van Cleef & Arpels - and has also developed its own jewellery collections.
The Atelier Georland has been particularly prolific for Fred, both in the 1970s with its famous animal creations, including the iconic "Panther Paws" collection, and more recently with more contemporary jewellery pieces in which the work on the setting is remarkable.
