‘BELT’ BRACELET Presumed fine pearls (not tested) and rose-cut diamonds 18-carat gold (750) Late 19th century Case signed Léopold Van Strydonck L: approx. 38 cm - W: 10.5 g A natural pearl (not tested), diamond and gold necklace, by Léopold Van Strydonck, 19th century Additional information: Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brussels between 1879 and 1884, Léopold Van Strydonck became a jewellery designer and opened a jewellery shop in Brussels. His creations, produced in the Wolfers workshops, established him as a leading figure in Art Nouveau jewellery.
