A Parisian doll or fashion doll in a seated position, with a leather body stuffed with wheat, stamped in blue on the back with ‘Jumeau Médaille d’or’; the head and ruff are made of biscuit porcelain, the eyes are blue-grey sulphide, and the open mouth reveals six little teeth. Engraved on the back of the neck with ‘Eden Bébé Paris 8’ and ‘8’ on the front of the neck. Size 8. With wig and outfit: navy blue woollen coat and beret, black leather shoes marked on the insides with a label reading ‘Au Louvre’. (Length 63 cm) Good condition.
