Scalloped back panel and removable cup holders halfway up the sides.
(Shamash missing, as is often the case. The broken back panel was formerly reinforced with a plate welded to the rear to stabilise it. Parts missing).

This handcrafted model, typical of village craftsmanship in Alsace, has survived the vicissitudes of history. Its owners chose to repair it rather than part with it.
