A brass Hanukkah lamp with a back panel featuring a mihrab-style openwork design.
A row of cups at mid-height. Complete with its shamash. The back panel and base are separate and do not appear to have been soldered together. They are therefore not joined together.
Algeria, 19th or early 20th century.
Height: 22 cm
An identical example is held in the collections of the mahJ in Paris under inventory number: Inv. 96.03.004.
