Ornamented with gilded bronzes such as Amour-écrivain (love-writer) at the base and eagle with spread wings on the terrace, feet with leafy attachments and falls. Dial with blue Roman numerals in enamelled cartouches. Lock signed JAPY Frères. Late 19th century. Damage and missing parts, wear to the gilding, to be cleaned. Total height 70cmx30x15cm.
