Description
A tombeau-shaped chest of drawers in rosewood veneer inlaid with leaves in reserves underlined by boxwood fillets and surrounded by violet wood. It opens with five drawers, three of which are in the waist. Pink breche marble top. Stamped C. LEBESGUE and Jurande mark J.M.E. Claude Pierre LEBESGUE received Master on 6 May 1750, died in August 1789. LOUIS XV period. Later period ormolu lock escutcheons and pull handles. Poor condition, in need of restoration, missing veneer and accidents, replacage on the front jambs and lower crosspiece, missing bronze falls, sabots and apron. - Size: 88.5 x 130 x 65 cm.
