PEIGNÉ DELACOURT (A.). *La chasse à la haie*. Paris, Bouchard-Huzard, 1858. Folio, publisher’s cardboard binding, 44 pp. First edition of this study on hedge hunting practised in northern France up to the Middle Ages. Illustrated with a beautiful chromolithographed frontispiece, an engraved title page and several woodcuts. Interior in very good condition. Binding is fragile, with a split spine and some damage to the spine. Provenance: The hunting library of the late Don Javier Lopez de Ceballos
