From the hunting library of J. López de Ceballos (ex-libris), comprising:
- BAKER (S. W.). *The Rifle and the Hound in Ceylon*. London, Longmans & Green, 1892. 12mo, publisher’s burgundy percaline cloth binding, 354 pp.
The author’s hunting memoirs from Ceylon in 1846: elephants, as well as wild boar, deer, etc. Illustrated with a frontispiece and 5 plates. Never before published in French.
Good condition. First spine re-glued.
- BROWN (J. M.). *Stray Sport*. Edinburgh, Blackwood, 1893. 2 vols., 12mo, publisher’s binding in olive-coloured percaline, gilt decoration on the front cover, 304 + 294 pp.
First edition of these accounts of tiger hunts in India, as well as in Ceylon and Great Britain, by an officer of the Indian Army. Illustrated with numerous woodcuts. Not previously published in French.
A fine copy from the Dollar Institution in Scotland (with ex-libris and gilt supra-libris).

A fine copy. Hardback, bearing the gilded coat of arms of an English school (prize copy), slightly rubbed.
