London, Colburn & Bentley, 1831. 2 vols. In-8, 19th-century binding in fawn half-calf with corner pieces, ribbed spine decorated with gilt motifs, title labels, 430 + 420 pp. The author’s hunting memoirs from the Scandinavian countries in the 1820s (including bear hunts). Illustrated with 14 fine plates, some lithographed on mounted China paper, and a folded map. Unpublished in French. Good condition. Water stains on the title pages. Tears in the map, but no pages missing. Caps and corners slightly rubbed. Provenance: The hunting library of the late Don Javier Lopez de Ceballos
