Description
ROUEN, 18th century. FOUNTAIN and its earthenware basin, decorated in shades of blue with lambrequins, a basket and floral bouquets. The basin is fitted with two handles in the form of female masks (16.5 x 41 x 22.5 cm), whilst the body is crowned with a shell flanked by facing dolphins (H. 44 cm). Cracks, restorations and damage. The set, signed A.R., rests on an oak base. Total height 155 cm.
