Description
Police cap made for the FLN. As a small document inside the cap attests, it was found in 1956 hidden in a mechta in the Korean Battalion's area of operations. Donated by Colonel Jacques Bouttin. Headdress made of fine white and green cotton fabric, on which the crescent moon surmounted by the star was embroidered 3 times, as well as several mottos in Arabic. FLN side cap. Small document inside indicates it was found in 1956 hidden in a mechta in the action zone of the Korean Battalion donated by Colonel Jacques Bouttin. White and green cotton lining embroidered three times with red crescent and star and Arabic mottos.
