Description
Rare FUMACO bayonet dagger, specific to Marine commandos, still with its USM1 tenon. 26 grooves moulded zamak handle in matt black paint. Original guard with reinforced bushing in factory paint. Small piece of black leather still present. Disassembly screw still bearing its factory tan. Blade in its original length and still sharp. Scabbard specific to this dagger, made of sheet steel covered with black paint, the end of the scabbard pierced with a leather lace. Steel blade riveted with two aluminium rivets to reinforce the khaki canvas loop. Functional pressure. Tenon known as the second model, with its functional push button, its 4 original screws and its factory tanning. An estimated 600 bayonet daggers were produced. Rare Commando Marine bayonetdagger known as the FUMACO model, still fitted with its USM1 bayonet lug. Cast zamak handle with 26 flutes in matte black paint. Original guard with reinforced socket and factory finish. Small black leather washer present. Original blued assembly screw. Blade fulllength and sharp. Distinctive steel scabbard painted black, pierced tip with leather thong. Steel blade riveted with two aluminium rivets strengthening the khaki web loop. Functional snap. Secondtype lug with working push button, four original screws and factory bluing. Estimated production around 600 examples.
