WEY (Francis). Haute-Savoie: Travelogues and Historical Accounts. Geneva: Terry, Pilet and Cougnard; Paris: Hachette, 1866. Large folio, an illustrated edition featuring fifty large lithographs as inserts and a title vignette depicting views of Haute-Savoie, drawn by H. Terry and reproduced in bistre. Red half-shagreen binding with corner pieces, spine decorated with five raised bands. Vce Payot label in Chamonix. One of the very rare copies featuring lithographs fully enhanced in colour and gummed. (Significant water stains and mould on the lower half of the leaves affecting the entire volume; traces of scorching and rubbing on the binding; upper joint partially split; some foxing)
