St Petersburg, State Paper Mill, 1908–1909. 3 volumes, large 8vo, the edition illustrated with 29, 33 and 27 plates in black and colour, respectively, mounted on heavy paper, as well as 3 fold-out plates bound at the end of the first volume, a facsimile of an autograph in the second volume and two facsimiles of autographs in the third volume. Full red morocco binding, covers with gilt borders; the author’s name, title and volume number embossed in the centre of the front cover; spine richly decorated with five raised bands; upper edge gilt. (some scuffing, soiling and stains to the bindings; slight knocks; the inner hinges of volumes 2 and 3 are split)
