Set of Kabyle jewellery, Algeria, Benni Yenni, 20th century
Made of silver, with blue, yellow and green enamelled decoration enhanced by coral or imitation coral cabochons. Comprising: 8 ear pendants, including one large pair and one small pair, the others of which can be paired; 1 ring; 2 enamelled plaques mounted as brooches. Some pieces are hallmarked.
Also included is a small khamsa pendant, an ornament with beaded decoration, filigree and coral cabochons, a broken necklace comprising three rows of coral strands interspersed with three enamelled silver settings featuring coral cabochons, and a small enamelled tassel (made of metal)
