Historical background :
Under the First Empire, the Justice of the Peace was M. Delorme who resided at 28 rue Feydeau. The courtroom of the Justice of the Peace of the Second Arrondissement of Paris was located in the town hall at 3 rue d'Antin (Hôtel de Mondragon), where Bonaparte and Joséphine de Beauharnais were married in 1796.
