Olga Konstantinovna Romanova (1851-1926) - granddaughter of Emperor Nicholas I. In 1867, she married King George I of Greece. This marriage, which strengthened relations between the two countries, was considered a success for Russian diplomacy.
She devoted herself to charitable work and, at the outbreak of the First World War, travelled to Russia to help the wounded.
She was also known for her love of the Russian navy. After the death of King George I in 1920, she acted as Queen Consort until her son acceded to the throne of Greece. Grandmother of Duke Philip of Edinburgh (husband of Queen Elizabeth II)
