MANUFACTURE OF SEVRES, in the taste of
Chased and gilt bronze pedestal table, black lacquered wood and polychrome porcelain plates. The top signed L. Morin lower right and centred with a full-length portrait of Louis XVI in coronation costume surrounded by seventeen medallions of court ladies and Louis XVII and a medallion with the coat of arms of France, encircled by a frieze of acanthus leaves and a partially openwork gallery. The baluster shaft has a tripod base with foliate scrolls on a plinth and castors.
Bears a Sèvres and Tuileries château mark.
