A very fine "Ikul" ceremonial knife in its characteristic leaf shape, with a clean blade decorated with eight circular perforations arranged symmetrically and forming two vertical columns, and a wooden handle decorated with metal inclusions.
The Ikul was worn by men as a symbol of prestige and authority, and was part of the daily costume of a man of the Kuba nobility.
