Description
ARCANE. The 1973 PRODISC high-fidelity system was considered by the magazine "La Nouvelle Revue du Son" to be the best audio system in the world at the time. PRODISC later became the famous French brand ICOS. Designed by Denis HAUSER with the following characteristics: Tri-amplified triphonic architecture, consisting of two satellite speakers and a subwoofer, all operating on the principle of active filtering of frequencies before amplification at the level of the weak signal in order to reduce distortion and obtain the flattest possible response curve. The speakers were fitted with JBL's famous LE8-T full-range driver, and a Fostex FT96H tweeter for high frequencies. (Without subwoofer, traces of use, scratches, preamp cover to be refastened, as is).
Speakers: 55 x 33.5 x 27 cm
Amplifier: 30 x 51.5 x 24.5 cm
Preamp: 6.5 x 25 x 27.5 cm
