Description
Acoustic Research AR-3a - Loudspeaker System (1965-71). Pair of 3-way loudspeakers from the 1960s by the designer Edgard Villchur, who revolutionised the world of audio with his "Acoustic Suspension" concept. These loudspeakers were admired by some of the world's greatest musicians, including Miles Davis and Herbert von Karajan. Equipped with a 12'' (30 cm) bass driver, a 38 mm hemispherical dome midrange and a 20 mm hemispherical dome tweeter, all housed in a 48 L cabinet. Frequency range 57 Hz - 50 KHz, midrange and high-frequency control at the rear of the speaker. (Sold as is, suspensions out of order, to be completely rebuilt)
