[Preceded by] Treatise on Plant Anatomy and Physiology. 18 vols. in-8, bronze-green half-calf, ribbed spine decorated with gilt motifs, pebbled edges (Germain-Simier). The first two volumes are devoted to the Treatise on Anatomy. The set is illustrated with 149 copper-engraved plates, finely watercoloured; 8 folded printed plates. Bindings slightly rubbed, fore-edges brittle. Provenance: Madeleine and René Junod (bookplate).
