General and Particular Natural History. 77 vols. in-12, marbled calfskin, plain spine decorated with gilt motifs, red title and volume number labels (contemporary binding). The set is illustrated with 1,076 copper-engraved plates, 107 of which are folded. The series comprises 31 volumes of *General and Particular Natural History*, 18 volumes on Birds, 4 volumes on Oviparous Animals, 9 volumes on Minerals and 14 volumes of Supplements. A fine copy in uniform binding. Bindings slightly rubbed, corners slightly worn, significant tears to the upper spine of volume XXIV.
