Quarto (27.8 x 22. & cm), scarlet morocco, covers with Duseuil-style gilt decoration and fleurons at the corners, ribbed spine adorned with gilt motifs, gilt edges, inner border of gilt motifs, scarlet silk endpapers and linings, covers and spine preserved (Huser).
First edition.
Numerous photographs reproduced as inserts.
Limited edition of 250 numbered copies, one of 230 on Arches vellum paper (no. 1).
Corners and caps very slightly rubbed; a vertical scratch in the centre of the upper cover.
