A pair of gilt-bronze and Sèvres porcelain-mounted gueridons in tulipwood, amaranth and sycamore, in the style of Martin Carlin; the Sèvres porcelain tops date from circa 1760, the painting is attributed to Vincent Taillandier, and the stands are in the Louis XVI style, late 19th century
The decoration on these trays allows them to be dated to around 1760.
Two services with a blue lapis background studded with gold were produced in 1761, both of which included footed saucers. The first was delivered on 1 August 1761 to Florent-Louis-Marie, Count of Châtelet-Lomont, France’s Minister Plenipotentiary to Austria between July 1761 and June 1766. The second service with a lapis-style background was delivered on 28 November 1761 to Claude Bonnet, paymaster of annuities and agent for the Court of Parma.
