TSOGO Tsogho ghéonga statue. From Yeno, a village near Mimongo (Gabon). 20th century. Height: 50 cm. An IR spectroscopy dating certificate (G. Matthaes patent) from the Museo d’Arte e Scienza, Milan, no. 6AF-3649, indicates the date as 1953 ± 10 years. Semi-hard wood coated with kaolin over the entire body.
