Male statue.
20th century.

An IR spectroscopy dating certificate (G. Matthaes patent) from the Museo d’Arte e Scienza, Milan, no. 6AF-3644, indicates the date as 1947 ± 8 years.
Light wood with a kaolin (pèmba) patina on the body, a red coating on the forehead and a black coating on the headdress. Diamond-shaped scarifications extend from the upper chest to the lower abdomen.
