An IR spectroscopy dating certificate (G. Matthaes patent) from the Museo d’Arte e Scienza, Milan, no. 6AF-3633, indicates the date as 1950 ± 8 years.
The headdress is topped with touraco feathers. The headdress is decorated with fabric and cowrie shells (Monetaria moneta). Scarification marks on the forehead. Eyes made from brass discs. The leg muscles are well-defined. The dancer is in the starting position for the dance.
