Description
FANG Fang Betsi passport fetish in a pouch. Height: 22 cm 20th century. Medium-weight wood, with a dark patina throughout. The face of the head is polished, whilst the headdress, consisting of four plaits, shows traces of carving with a knife. The pouch containing the magical remedies (crushed bone fragments, etc.) is made of thick fabric wrapped in black-dyed wickerwork. Provenance: Pierre Redouin Collection.
