FANG Mékéné Fang mask. From the vicinity of La Lopé (Gabon). 20th century. Height: 27.5 cm. Semi-light wood covered with white kaolin. The eyes are elongated horizontal slits. Typical Fang scarification marks are present on each cheek of the mask. Provenance: Pierre Redouin Collection.
