Horse hunter troop sabre model 1790
Leather-covered handle with brass filigree.
Brass mounting, basket guard, stamped with rooster and remainder of "REVER" hallmark. Curved blade with full heel hallmarked with the lictor beam, by Cabannes and Bisch (circa 1791-1793) then with hollow sides.
Varnished leather scabbard with three brass fittings and small iron stinger.
Length: 108 cm.
