Short sabre. Three-rivet bronze hilt, marked on the edge "1815" and stamped "C3595". Guard with two "S" quillons and cut-out auricles. Flat-backed curved blade, counter-edged, hallmarked. Leather scabbard with two brass fittings. Length: 65 cm. A.B.E. (The blade does not fully fit into its scabbard). Early 19th century.
