Grand Duchy of HESSE House of LOUIS I DE HESSE (1753-1830). Beautiful gilt bronze chamberlain's key. The ring is adorned with laurel and oak leaves, the Hessian lion under a crown and an escutcheon with the numeral "L". Round stem with string of small pearls, then wreath of foliage on rectangular base with diamond grid. Plain round collar. Ball engraved with foliage. Bit decorated with a flower.
