Description
Rare and historic pair of braces attributed to General CAMBRONNE, with four branches, two fixed and two with buttonholes. Two branches embroidered with boughs of oak leaves and laurel leaves interspersed with flowers and buds. and buds; hemmed and lined with ivory satin. Two skin-lined elasticated branches, reinforced with natural leather at the ends, two of which are oval with buttonholes. Elastics with ten "boudin" springs finely bound and covered with ivory braided and laced leather. T.B.E. First Empire period. Length 68 cm, of which 48 cm is embroidered. Width 5 cm.
